Motorola Mobility has made several updates to its Ice Cream Sandwich update schedule, specifically concerning the DROID RAZR, DROID RAZR MAXX, DROID 4, DROID BIONIC, DROID XYBOARD 8.2 and 10.1, and MOTOROLA XOOM WiFI + 3G. In the next month and a half, U.S. owners of the DROID RAZR, RAZR MAXX and XOOM WiFi + 3G can expect to receive their official push to Android 4.0. The DROID BIONIC, DROID 4, and XYBOARD updates are all slated for the third quarter of 2012.
It’s good to see Motorola Mobility working towards brining several of its mainstream Android devices to the platform’s latest software. However, sadly, the still relatively fresh DROID 3 and DROID X2 remain absent from the list. While the schedule update doesn’t provide exact dates, it does note that additional details will be shared later.
